i loved this play my mom and i saw at least 5 times. b4,during and after Fantasia, even when Chaka Kahn and Be be Winans was in it!

If you are going to record anything, the purpose is for you and others to enjoy it at a later time right. So why won't you give the scene the respect its due....by listening! I was so turned off by the unnecessary noise as that's all it was NOISE. How disappointing! No need to comment back I don't give a shit!

I saw the play twice with Fantasia and she was phenomenal.
I wish she would do it again. This is one play you should save up to see.

i remember watching the documentary on how the musical was made. The cast was talking about how they could tell when the audience was either mostly white or mostly african american. The african american audiences would talk back and they said they loved the energy that the audience were giving to them at those moments.
