This is from the beginning of the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie. It's also my first attempt at a live recording, using the microphone on my laptop. It turned out better than I though it would but still not great. Arranged and played by me.

  • @goodathalo honestly man recommending mouthpieces is pointless because mouthpieces are like eyeglasses, you need your personal preference you can't get just recommended a pair of glasses because what if they're all blurry? same goes with a mouthpiece, you have to try out multiple ones and you'll know which ones the right one so let him do what he wants dude

  • Try the Time Sig in 6/8, thats more of the feel of this piece.

  • awesome. you did a nice job!

  • i would get a nose bleed from playing that high of notes on my trombone :) Good Job!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • Nice, dude. Imo you should play this without those big pauses between each notes. (But keep the regular as they are^^). Gives it a better touch like from an synfonia orchestra or something like this. Kinda more emotion. Anyway thumbs up for ya (:

  • This is great! You may want to add some more slurs there though. :)

  • @TehRude I play lead for the trombone quartet I am a part of and trust me, it does not get easier. I rarely go in the staff so I know it hurts. A big part is use A LOT OF AIR. Air is key to hitting those high notes and staying up there. Also, you might want to look into overall a smaller mouthpiece. Personally, I play on a Getzen Eterna with a vincent bach 15cw. The 15 is a tiny mouthpiece but it really helps me stay up there but be weary, smaller mouthpieces will make you go Sharp.

  • Yeha!! Good!!!

  • I played along and I loved it!

  • SMACK IN THE LIPS!!
