1977, hmmm... No Imperial March were in 1977, neither colorful holograms... Power of the dark side I feel. Fell you there much like George has.

Excellent work... a really strongly edited trailer... my only criticisms would be that you really shouldn't show the Death Star being blown up in a trailer lol.

i think and not 100% sure but still have somewhere the VHS tapes from the originals before the special editions
. will have to check though for sure.

Update: This is in my picky opinion the single best Star Wars trailer I have seen. The more I watch it the more I'm impressed by it. Short, perfect selection of scenes, and great editing (except the bars where Leia feeds R2). Most trailers are way too long, and don't create a good flow that keeps your attention. I originally preferred not having Vader's theme (since it's Episode V) but I gotta admit it fits perfectly. 5/5 stars, dude. Even better than the official Lucasfilm trailers.

Thanks a lot... even to those writing angry stuff. I appreciate anyone who watches it. Really, I only cut this together to test out my dvd rip program... but had fun in the process. (I was totally aware of the chronological discontinuities with the music while I was cutting it. Didn't think it really mattered in a fan trailer to be honest.)

H'mm doesn't showing the DS blowing up ruin the ending of the movie for a trailer?

yes... especially since most people watching Star Wars fan-trailers have never seen the movie. Touche, Doorhenge ;)
