Concern is growing in Yemen that the government's battle against rebels in the North could destabilise the entire region.

Saudi Arabia became involved in the conflict earlier this month, when fighters strayed over the border.

Both Saudi and Yemeni government accuse Iran of arming the rebels.

Hashem Ahelbarra reports.

  • Fuck you dirty zionist saudis long live muslim unity

  • Iran is a threat to the middleast, be it arab country or isreal......

  • "Former agent for French military intelligence Pierre-Henry Bunel has this to say about 'al Qaeda': "The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the 'devil' only in order to drive the 'TV watcher' to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism..."

  • I have never seen a Yemani who identifies himself as sunni or shia. The sunni against shia war is being forced on Yemen by the Saudis.

  • It is important to understand the theological roots of these deviant groups, in order to tackle them. There is no doubt that Islaam orders us with obedience to our Muslim leaders, whether righteous or wicked and that terrorism (suicide bombings hijackings etc.) are all forbidden. We need to study the evidences which these groups use so that we can persuade them to come back to the truth. In fact this is a policy that Saudi Arabia has undertaken.

  • The neo-Kharijite groups like Al-Aqaeda have been influenced by people like Syed Qutb, in their methodology of rebelling against Muslims rulers. This principle has been rejected by Salafeeyah and also the Saudi rulers and religious leaders. The Imams of Ahlus-Sunnah, including the recent Saudi scholars have always spoken out against rebelling against Muslim rulers and against terrorism. To say that Saudis, ibn Abdul Wahhab and ibn Taymiyyah are responsible for todays terror is completely wrong.

  • From the Sunni groups carrying out evil terrorist attacks around the world, then many of them are Kharijite in belief and methodology. Characteristics of the Kharijites are: 1) Killing of innocents (Islaam prohibits this). 2) Rebelling against Muslim rulers (Islaam prohibits this). Salafees do not agree at all with these 2 points. All Muslims must unite against the terrorist Kharijites (Al-Qaeda et al). The Saudi religious leaders have always condemned terror.

  • Islaam prohibits the killing of innocents and has nothing to do with terrorism. Indeed it is Iran (the bastion of the Shia religion) which is a sponsor of terrorism. Iran is the state which publicly supports suicide bombings and killing of innocent people. Iran support groups like Hizbullaah and Hamas. You know that in Sunni Islaam suicide is forbidden. In fact the Saudi religious leaders have always condemned all forms of terrorism. Go to their websites and see for yourself.

  • Shia Iranian leaders often speak about the Palestinian issue to rally support from Sunnis. But we should not be fooled, as this is a deliberate tactic used by the Shias to instil support for the Shias for iran and Hizbullaah.

There is a saying; that the Iranians (Persians) are carpet makers and these carpets take years to make, but be assured they do get made.

  • The Shia have elevated their Imams to the level of "gods" of ancient times as occurs in one of the main Shia books, Al Kaafi. Some exaggerations are: that Imaams know when they will die and die of their own choice! (p.258).That Imaams have knowledge of the past and future and nothing is concealed from them! (p.260). That all of the earth belongs to the Imaams! (p.407). This is all false and the Imaams themselves would declare themselves free of these attributes.
