After about 2 weeks of work (mostly of which waiting around for money to buy parts :P) the Cav is back alive. It ended up needing a new timing chain tensioner, and head. I also replaced the head gasket and valve cover gasket while I had it apart.

  • we have the same car i have a question how much would a paint job for a little car like this cost?

  • @jon204

It depends on how much prep work you do. If you completely prep it for a shop it wont be too much. If you make them do it all it'll be more. I've personally never gotten a car painted though so I couldnt give you a price estimate, I just know the more you prep yourself the cheaper.

  • @xScoobyDoo82x ok what if all the paint is coming off by it self?

  • @jon204 they're still gonna charge you to prep it

  • did you sell the grand prix?

  • @camaroz2855 No but I might be if I decide to keep this car.
