  • @gordysuggs same here, 327 69 impala bored .030 over. Cool

  • If this is sincerely a first time start...I bet you were calling your high performance store for a cam warranty in about 2 hours after making this. To all of you wiseguys that know all about rebuilding a motor; on a brand new cam, you don't let it idle. That's for idiots. You fire it up and take it to 2,000 RPM IMMEDIATELY. Never let it get below 2k. 2K and 3K is the happy range, for about 15-20 minutes.

"You gotta let it get oil in the top end." That's what an oil primer is for, silly.

  • god that sounds good

  • @420GETURDONE420 Actually yes it does, You need to let a motor idle if it hasn't been ran in a while so oil can flow to the rocker, and lubricate the valve springs and such.

  • cool s10 i have an 85 z28 with 327 out of 69 impala bored .030 almost everything new internally think i need a new distributor car cuts off at random sometimes and when i tap dist. cranks again

  • Hey...what kind of electric fan do you have on the front of the radiator? Brand..? Thats pretty much all we need to finish the one were building. That...and a lot of time to do the bodywork but thats another story...

  • @TheCountryboy210 doesnt really matter if its a roller cam set up

  • nice only thing i would have done different is move trans cooler underneath so nothing can be in front of radiator, and would of had a griffin alum. i always run the fan on the back side so there is nothing obstructing the flow of air in front, plus it depends where you live, if its always hot or cooler, i have lived in vegas and florida, its hot as hell, so i use puller fan set-ups. so it pulls cool air from front and gets rid out back.

  • Nice truck man. Gotta 95 s10 with a 355 . have a 100 shot on it.

  • You really shouldnt rev it like crazy when you first start it for sure if it aint ever been started haha.
