Slap Bass Lesson 9

Requested lesson of my second part of "Slap Bass Groove 4". This is a part that we used back in the old days in Mobility when playing live. Our drummer and I had a drum and bass solo, where we would jam around this groove.

6 months later though not dedicated entirely to practice as I should have been, I'm finally gettin this lesson to where I'm havin fun!! sucks to have so much on my plate with what I do in life, wish I had more time for the bass but your lessons have gone a long way to make my time fun and enjoyable! Its a Musicman Stingray. Not the cheapest basses around, but they are very good basses.

this is simple but good^^ nice sound and while playing it faster and faster it sounds better and better i think

you should do some freddy washington for everybody...he did forget me nots..(patrice rushen) you could easily pull that off if your doing this stuff..good playing though..most people dont take the time and break it down like that...id also like to comment i use DR medium hi beams, talk about a string with boing i find those strings are easier for this style of playing..so responcive and nice.

i had a musicman bongo bass...sold it to a freind in CA....imn usiang an aria sb 1000 JT bass and its magnificent..does shalamar..sade...duran duran...chic...cerrone...you name it..but musicman are great bass's very well made...and thier customer service is supurb.
