I actually believe he is the fastest singer in the world. Do you know anyone who could be compared to him? I can only think of Tonex, but all he does is this down running, which gets kind of boring when he does it for the fifth time in a song :D.

@Gumikrukon Great! I'm glad to finally hear a comment that makes sense! Guess what, even Ton Carfi regards Tonex as the best and fastest singer in the world. As far as I know, in R&B and Jazz the best singers/musicians are those who manages to improvise without repeating a phrase over and over, but my untrained ears have also recognized the same patterns you've described. So, why Tonex is considered an E.T.?

@Gumikrukon Ton Carfi does look up to Tonex, Brian Mcknight and Wanya Morris as the greatest singers ever. But in terms of creativity, speed and range, it's also worthwhile to check out Shea Norman, J Moss and Jesse Campbell. There're two guys from a very good duet that share these qualities: Craig&Lewis Band. Craig is very fast and creative, while Lewis exhibits an unbelievable range.

Ainda me lembro, com muita clareza, do impacto que me causou quando ouvi, pela primeira vez, a gravação de "Tocou-me" na voz de Ton Carfi, em dueto com Karina Carfi. O sentimento que me transmitiu, aquele timbre peculiar, aquela interpretação ornamentada com tantos recursos e tanta agilidade, imediatamente me fizeram querer saber quem era aquele cantor.

É essa a perplexidade que causa um verdadeiro artista, pois este é dotado de talento e preparo. Alguém que não cause uma tal impressão, não poderia se considerar um verdadeiro artista.

Graças a Deus que, em sua infinita misericórdia, nos presenteia com um Ton Carfi, num mundo perdido que caminha para a destruição.

É isso aí, mano. Deixe sua pequena luz brilhar.
