Jeremy Leeper, Greg Howell and Mark Smiley climbed up and skied down Whetstone Peak just South of Crested Butte, CO. It was an amazing climb and a very warm descent. Towards the end of the descent we had to ski around several aspects that were prone to avalanching! When this warm spring-ish snow cuts loose it is called a wet slide....at the end of the video I captured a very scary slide. Good thing I was not on the steeper part of this slope.
