World Record Water Rocket Attempt - 1st Test Flight

This is the first flight of our World Record attempt test rig.
As part of this years NPL Water Rocket Challenge on the 15th of June 2011 a team are attempting to build what, if successful, should be the world's largest water rocket.
The aim is to set a world record for the largest water rocket constructed from 2 litre carbonated drinks bottles, pressurised by hand using standard bicycle pumps. To then be launched and achieve flight.
