It depends on the mistake. You have to remember, these are cut down to 5 minutes of what a consensus of people thought were funny mistakes, hoping those of us viewing this would laugh. It's not showing the technical mistakes or the jokes that fell flat and didn't get a laugh or mess ups that simply weren't funny. Same for drama. You'd be surprised at how many dramatic scenes are bungled because the actors giggle when they mess up a line or find something unintentionally funny in a serious scene.
I always had this feeling that they seeming had it down better than what I thought they did. I'm sure they do laugh and mess something up often, but I never thought it was really a significant number. I thought you would get into trouble over that. O_O Don't you get money reduced from your check if you mess up over and over?
