@RobinsTaste I have seen all those HK films you've mentioned.All awesome films HK and Chinese films were my first foreign favorites before Koreans.but i have not watched much anymore,been lazy looking for downloads haha...i still do now and then..

@mpa324 If you like korean action films with heart, see John Woos film. Hardboiled is the only most emotionless film, but A Better Tomorrow 1, 2 and The Killer are awesome both drama and action.

i had already seen this movie 2 years ago..and i want to say that jang dong gun acting in this movie is Superb ! he look like typical southeast asian man..!! lol no wonder he had many fans in southeast asian countries like Indonesia,Thailand,and viet Nam..

Actually my comment made previous was full of oddities. I am not so sure how this movie faired on box office. @greyfox129 this is the thing. When he screamed back "what story to be told huh?" And began shooting...that NK accent speaking Korean. You are just not going to be as terrifying as SKorean who are more familiar with it.

@dokkiro I'm not Korean and I understand what the guy is going through. Hell they can call him the main villain but both sides of korea burned him and his whole family. I'm not surprised that he is taking this course of action. I think it's wrong but hey they created that monster and now they had to reap what they sowed.

Typhoon I thought was really great movie. But unfortunately emotional aspects of this movie surrounding this chractor. I mean I don't think anyone can truly understand this movie unless you are korean.
