Can you believe that Just a Closer Walk was written and the words added by some one anonyms. There is not a more beautiful praise hymn out there. I learned it as a little boy and Mama playing the piano and she tought is to my sister and I as a happy praise song. I have always loved this song. It has been played and sang at just about all of the members of my family's funeral and as a praise song, they have moved on to a much happier place where there is no more sickness or pain. Fred

Actually, Kevin is a friend of Pete's from up north. Pete invited him down to be featured on a few numbers. Earlier in the show Kevin was very complimentary and presented Pete with a plaque for his outstanding contributions/influences to the jazz world and as an official jazz ambassador to the state of Wisconsin.
