i personally think this song is amazing and so is her voice

SNL could have been a sound mixing issue. She most defiantly a throw back to old night club singers a contrast to auto tune.

I personally am a fan of Lana Del Rey, but I really don't like the way she stylizes her songs in her live performances. By that I mean like when she randomly says "Honey" or when she drops an octave randomly or when she goes "every little thing that I do". It sounds forced, clunky, and distracting.
-
Why couldn't she sound like this on snl?
-
I cant get this song out of my head!

After watching this right after watching her SNL performance, I still think she's a great singer. People do have bad performances in their career and you can only improve on those mistakes. If we, including those haters, see a tendency of "SNL" performances in the future, then we can make judgements. For now she's got a soft voice and is freak'n gorgeous even if those lips are fake. It's like Angelina Jolie but a singer without the third-world babies.

@lilrockable I agree, I don't know what their gripe is about, she actually sounds real, instead of fake, like most of them become (probably cause of lip syncing) I think her performance was amazing, especially for being brand new to the scene
i dont understand why everyone is bitching about SNL, i watched the SNL clip and she actually has a REAL voice(reminds me of Dido) which i cant say about 99% of every pop/rap artist on the radio.. Some people just like being little shits i guess

This girl is great...not for everyone, but great none the less. I thought the SNL performance was fine.
