Girls Jumping out of School Window

As the school burns, the girls throw themselves out of the window, and some cling on to the window ledge until letting go, while a motorist and his wife stop to film. This is Baraim National School for girls in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It was reported early on that two girls died, and thirty two were injured some seriously, and the death toll was expected to rise. The fire brigade took time to arrive, and many were later evacuated by helicopters. Saudi schools, hospitals and public buildings have poor building standards and there is increasing awareness of poor management standards, while online activitsts and bloggers are being imprisoned recently for speaking out and asking for reforms.

@justanoldman1 i would like to know where did you get this informations cuz it's not right LOL .. yes the door was lucked before the fire started.. the school did that because they don't want the student to run from the school during the classes ... it's happened before so they start to lucked it :-\ the girls are young and males are aloud to see them plus in this kind of emergencies these things doesn't matter and people did enter the school but it was a bit hard because it only have one door

@adenadmaen they did go inside and they saved the people in the first floor but they couldn't get upstairs.. the firemen came late... that was the problem

just to clear everything out this school is build by a business person not the government ... this man haven't include any safety tools in it ... there where no emergency exit or anything in this matter.. people did go inside the school but that was very hard because of the way the school designed.. that way they was late ... being a girls school has nothing to do with them jumping or for the people being late to save them :-\  no one lucked the door in them...please get your facts right :)

@ameeradc Ladders would not help because they lock all the doors and windows so that no one can come in to see the girls. These people are sick and it is their religion that must change. They are living by a 7th century book and it just does not fit with our current times. Islam is so far behind times that it is dangerous and hurtful.

@adenadmaen you know nothing about what you're talking about ! if they could've helped they would ! in fact a young guy turned blind because he was trying to help the girls and they even brought a helicopter but what happened, happened

Careless people!! Why didn't they help. And all they did was watch the death pf young kids

This shows how careless they are when they build homes and business's over there. They could have saved many lives if they would have had ladders in place. This is just awful! Saudi Arabia is a very rich and educated country so they need to start acting like it!!!!
