  • I bought a Mak because it was made in the USA. No regrets!!!

  • @geonerd first, fuck china, second, fuck methfaced redneck right wing wackos, thirdly, chinese crap is flooding amerikkka, and the wto has yet to bring dumping charges against them.

  • WHY DID TRAEGER STOP SELLING THIS VERY GOOD LOOKING GRILL?

  • @geonerd Get used to buying "Chinese Crap" China isn't going anywhere and they now are a more productive country than the U.S. is......they are only going to get stronger, and will be the major world power within the next 25 years....maybe sooner.

  • @455Transam Believe it or not, trade deficits DO affect the economic health of our country. Just because Ford is selling Burritomobiles down the road is no excuse for buying Chinese crap. (I sympathize somewhat with Ford. The UAW has greatly over-reached and has made it hard to economically build cars in the U.S.)

  • @455Transam I realize all this, but there is another brand of smoker grill made here, almost entirely of USA made parts and materials, whereas the chinese metals and paints are questionable at best, and their quality is sub par... 'american' cars have been multi cultural for many years now, and don't have a problem with that... in fact, we own 3 toyotas...but will not knowingly purchase a chinese made product, if there is an alternative...

  • @minkyblack Guess you'll be living in a REAL sheltered world......it's a world market nowdays with MANY products being made all over the world INCLUDING China.

Ever try to buy an American made car lately?? FORDS are made in Mexico and Canada and Europe, very few are made here in America...same with Chevty and Chrysler.

  • @honkerdown we listened to the whole sales pitch, and was ready to buy 2 of them...when we found out it was made in china, we walked away...

  • Looks like the grill space is about the size of the traeger jr., maybe taller. Putting the hopper on the inside looks like a mistake to me.

  • @taskmasster As I understand it, all Traegers are now made in China.
