Compiled music video for Angels & Airwaves' "Crawl" aka "My Heroine" aka "It's Not Over." I didn't film this. I simply edited a few scenes together to fit the song.

Can you tell that I'm wanting to expand storytelling beyond music videos? Two videos in a row with intro stories. They're meant to add character depth which is a hard thing to achieve in a regular 3-4 minute video.

Themes:
1. The male love interest dies in a car accident. The rest of the video/lyrics should be viewed from the perspective that he is still with her in presence.
2. The female love interest tries to move on but still feels his pull on her life.
3. Birds = symbol of the his presence. Notice the picture on his phone at the beginning (birds). The main clip begins with birds flying. Notice the lyrics when she looks back and sees the flock of birds. The video ends with birds. All of this attempts to convey that he hasn't left her and that love carries on past death. Only things of this world can pass away.

-Near the end, you may pick up on a "continuity error" (technical film term commonly known as an "egg"). (By the way, this is a hallmark of Stanley Kubrick films). And like Kubrick, this isn't a mistake but intentional. I'm referring to the scene where she's looking at the Tower and all of a sudden her hair is blowing in the wind and a figure passes by. In the next scene you see her hair down and no one near her. "you're in my arms, just like the wind."
