WANTED: Somebody to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before.
-
I expect many "Back to the Future" references in this LP.

Computer goes into Sleep mode :D

When I played this game, I got to the end boss by running from EVERY battle. It actually works. You can run from almost every battle except bosses.

7:50 I love the smell of napalm in the morning

*we cant go back to the future yet!*

I expect lots of Back to the Future references in this Let's Play!

I don't know what it is but the town music makes me feel really uneasy, as great as some of the music in this game is, that song is like nails on a chalkboard.

Maybe the plume keeps you awake because when you fall asleep, it tickles your nose making you sneeze & wake up.

HCBailly, you can't get to the floating continent, for you don't float high enough!

i would love a balloon, so long as it floats
Why didn't you get Psi knives for the humans as well? the +5 agi is nice to have for everyone, and its not like money is TOO hard to come by (but then again, i did a little bit of grinding)

*before testing*
I'm going to pick up stronger weapons at the next town and dungeon, which for humans is more valuable than a small agility boost.
*after testing*
Hmm... Apparently, since agility is a factor in melee weapon damage, the agility boost compensates for the lack of power compared to the next weapons I was planning on getting. Plus, I end up being a little faster. Good call!

hey hcbailly do you record the video first and then do the commentary or commentary while you record

I almost always comment impromptu as I'm recording. However, I'll sometimes script out a technical explanation, to make sure I don't forget anything.

For a mostly unscripted LPer, I gotta say, you're the best. I've watched scripted LPs that didn't flow as well as yours. One thing I've been trying to figure out: how are you able to carry on talking through the random battle cuts? Do you just splice the audio while editing the video?

If I get caught mid-sentence, I just edit out me saying the first few words and pick it up after the battle. I also try to put a couple seconds between sentences while walking for this purpose. This was especially difficult in the first two games with their insane encounter rate.
