1. Of course DQ didn't create this commercial to offend Mr. Neuts personally. They probably weren't even aware of what happened to the Neuts boy, but that doesn't change the irresponsibility of airing it. Because, someone, somewhere, is going to watch it...and think that it's ok to hang some kid from a hook - and they won't have the benefit of props and special effects.
2. I believe that this is why Mr. Neuts has spoken out against it. Not as a crybaby....crying wolf - but to prevent tragedy

I agree completely. This is horrible, having been bullied myself and slammed against a tree and having my spine dragged down it. I can't begin to explain all the pain and fear I felt when two boys in grade school did that. I was hurt, felt unworthy of being around people and I'm proud of Mike Neuts for what he did and for what he is doing. I was bullied all through grade school and two years of high school so I thank Mr. Neuts for all his work.
