No, that is the standard oboe. Oboe da Caccia is actually bigger, and curves around.

I think that might be a Oboe de caccia it seems alot smaller...... nice bassoon I play oboe myself

I really like this piece. I was fortunate enough to hear Nancy Ambrose King play it at Marrowstone 2007 and then hear it at the IDRS conference this year. I know a good bassoonist that I'll play it with eventually.
