"Betsu-ni" is the B-side to their 1986 "Stay Close" EP. Lyric by Jansen, music by Takahashi/Jansen. Yukihiro Takahashi & Steve Jansen: vocals, drums, & synthesizers. Carlos Alomar: guitar. Hiroyasu Yaguchi: saxaphone. Hiroshi Sato: piano. Ki Ki: background vocals.

RIP David Sowanso, my friend at the first year of Birmingham University, this was his favorite song of my import record collection in 1985-86. He didnt like the rest, but he said this was an absolute gem. He passed away at the beginning of the next academic year.
So in my mind, this song is to his memory.

I'm glad people are enjoying this song. It was an old favorite of mine and I thought others would enjoy hearing it. I was surprised to see it wasn't on YouTube already - a forgotten gem.
