Confident and relaxed, L'Orien is attentive to the aids and nicely forward, but very sensible. He maintains a soft connection to the bridle and is consistent in his work. He has an easy going temperament and takes new experiences in stride. Professionally started late this winter, and then put back out to pasture to grow, L'Orien is clearly happy to be back in work. He's by two time Brentina Cup winner and Grand Prix Dressage winner, Olivier, and grandson of the great Idocus ridden by Courtney King-Dye. Flashy and correct, L'Orien is typey while still having a substantial amount of bone. His even markings and soft bay coat with roaning accent his classic good looks. He's handsome enough to be a top notch hunter prospect as well. The trainer said he showed potential over fences. Clean changes while free lunging since day one. He was a premium German Oldenburg Verband foal and has shown in hand with scores over 80%. Excellent ground manners and very personable. He wants nothing more than to be the center of attention. This one will melt your heart. He's registered GOV and lifetime USEF and USDF. Sold. Contact: moses@alum.mit.edu
