correction: from 1.6. light keep on unless it is turned off nor stanby mode. it blink quickly when going into stand by mode and after changing to stand by mode, the light is off. if you have message , it blink slowly in blue. I guess this is prevent users from mixed up two modes: stand by mode and just display turning off mode. while some users complained about "freeze" , it was actually they mixed up those two modes.

Help~~ when my Vita update to 1.6 the notification light wont go dim!! it keep light up all the way any way to fix it????

@darnops it is "by design" . from 1.6 , it keep lighting on in blue. and blink in blue in stand by mode.
