I wasn't talking about you specifically, but just that winning isn't proof of fact, but can often simply be that the winner is a good debater, and the example I gave was that an atheist can win an argument that God doesn't exist, but that doesn't change the fact that he does exist.

I'm an Atheist but i just subscribed to you josh. Takes a lot for anyone to admit that they lost a debate and i have NEVER seem a creationist ever do that. I hope you do much better Friday. I may not agree with you position but you have defiantly gained my respect.

There is one problem with debates. Someone who is very good at them can win even if he's totally in the wrong. No matter how good a debater an atheist might be, no matter if they win every debate, God will still exist. You can't eliminate the Lord with clever words!

The internet has given us such great gifts as being able to chat with people around the world, but it still takes a lot of getting used to the fact that those you're chatting with could be up to 12 off your own time!
