I'm using Mach3 on my own DIY CNC and would love to swap out my cutter and use a laser.
I'm Curious how you setup Mach3 to enable and disable the laser while running your G-Code!

would the laser be powerful enough to cut through wood about 1/8" thick.

Will this work on aluminium? LIke if i were to do this would it put a deep enough grove in it so i can fill the grove with paint so it stands out?

Probably would work, but it depends on the casing material and color. I don't have any plans.
