That would be correct.

@FalcoDeDati So this rifle has the same "grip" lever safety as the Winchester 94?

i was considering buying this gun, any misfeeds? and how does ths safety work on this gun

@jondoethereturn
I have had the odd issue with a misfeed, where the round comes in from the magazine on an angle and gums up the works, might be a 1 in 1000 issue as it has only happened twice. The safety forces you to actually hold on to the gun. The lever needs to be squeezed to the stock, which pushes a small button that deactivates a disconnect to the trigger mechanism. It is a common safety on Lever Actions now, so more or less unavoidable.

I thought a 30-30 recoil was pretty bad when i shot it until i shot a marlin guidegun in 45-70 that has some serious kick

It all comes down to perspective and training. At this point I have put a thousand rounds through that gun, and just scored my first deer with her. Looking back at this video of my buddy, and my other video of myself, I have to laugh at how bad we were. Now I barely feel her when I squeeze the trigger, and never flinch my shot.
Just shot my Grandpa's 300 win mag, and that kicked like a mule.
