hey i want to make skis but im running into the problem of i dont know were to buy the materials/ even know what the materials are.... like were to buy the base and the edge and ect let me know

Thanks alot Ben, thats a huge help. Did they work out well? I'm planning to start building my mold for my pair of skis this weekend so i'v been reasearching the best ways to make the press. I was planning on using a simple clamp press but this way seems to be pretty succesful. Thanks again.

that's awesome, how did you go about making your vacuum bag system though?

The bag himself is just the top of the mold (covered with a smooth laminate) on which I tape a plastic film (tape is all around the mold contour). Then I plug to the bag a vacuum pump (I borrowed a professional one but a modified fridge compressor will do the job) and remove all the air from the bag.
The more the bag is sealed the better : I have a system ton control the vacuum, the pump is only working when vacuum is not within my "acceptable" range.
