iOS 4 for iPod Touch 2nd Generation

This is an overview of some of the new features in iOS 4 for the iPod Touch 2nd Generation and the iPhone 3G. The iPhone 3GS and the iPod Touch 3rd Generation have more features in iOS 4. The new OS runs very well and has some good features that are very useful. I enjoy it and I am glad that it is a free upgrade. I forgot to mention the new dock and the new icon for the calculator app. Overall, it is a great upgrade.

@dwk331 Yep. That is multitasking and it is not on the ipod touch 2g.

I lost my music during the update and my apps. So now I can't restore my music but I can with my apps. If there is any way to get my music back that would be great. I'm so stupid to not back up my iPod 

I have a 2gen running 4.2.1 and it's great. fast and much more smooth. it's a good upgrade!! I want to upgrade to iOS 5 but not sure the 2nd gen can handle it

very strange... ios 4.0 ran very slowly on my ipod touch 2g. fortunately ios 4.2 runs faster, like ios 3.1.3 :D
