McLaughlin & Naslund at Egerdal's MX Track 1993

Wayne Egerdal has one of the sweetest tracks that I have ever had the privilege of riding. In my opinion, the absolute most perfect dirt imaginable. I only had a handful of opportunities to ride at Wayne's track and thankfully I brought a camera with me a few times.

I remember this day of riding pretty well. What I remember most is crashing in the one whoop section and landing in the creek. You can't really tell, and if I had known I might have been a bit more careful, but there is a creek that looks small running right beside the whoop section. When I crashed, my bike stayed on the track while my body flew into the creek. Just to give you an idea, I don't think my feet were able to touch the bottom of the creek bed where I landed. It was an interesting fall to say the least. It was narrow enough that I had no problem reaching the bank, but still....

There was some pretty good footage taken. Sean looked really good. I wish I had more footage of him riding in other sections of the track. I included almost 100% of the film recorded from this day of riding in the video.

Other than that, all I can say is how envious I am of Wayne's track. I think this is pretty much every riders dream to have such a great piece of property. I am not sure if Wayne is still using it for riding or not.

hey scott i didnt know if you knew this but the kid on the pw 50 in the video at about the 1min 45sec mark is non other than CODY NOBLE..... if you got any more clips with him in it im sure the noble family would love to see them....

AHHH Wayne's track. Man that place was great! Throught the years it evlolved and morphed into different forms. It was an absolute pleasure to ride. I am very fortunate to have Wayne as a friend. He is a great person to have let me spend as much time there as I did. I definately miss that part of riding.

This is an awesome video! 51 I'm glad you pointed out that was Cody! Crazy that a few years later we took lessons from Naslund @ the Nobles track! Good memories

im a kid from laurel and im not positive but im pretty sure that wayne still lets people go on his track. at least my friends that ride have talked about it a few times.
