Sorry..I though on one of your other clips you had a water cooling attachment. I might be confusing videos (been watching a lot of milling videos since I first saw yours).

Damn. Awsome.
Are you the guy from the DCS forums who is making it's own cockpit ?

I could watch that thing mill day. Great work again! Finished product is going to be simply amazing. I wanted to ask, do you have to create a new file for each cut, or do you have one file specifying final sizes, and the machine just tells you its time to put on a different bit? How does that part work? Thx!

You can do it either way, currently I make one file per feature of the part (i.e outer profile, rough cut the holes, drill etc). The CAM program I use makes it easy to generate gcode (gcode controls the movement of the machine) for the entire part or only a single feature. You can also do multiple fixtures for the same part (to cut two identical parts but at different positions on the table).

That is killer. Sounds easy to use. What about the water cooling attachment? Did you have to add a water line in your garage?

The what now? :-)
No water I'm afraid, it's just a vacuum cleaner but it keeps the chips from getting everywhere plus I guess you get a little cooling from it.
