I am a 44 year old mom who began studying the piano again about 1 1/2 years ago (I did play when I was younger but stopped for 20 years). This is my first time posting anything to Youtube that I've played.

This is one of my favorite songs The Wisdom of Snow by Trans-Siberian Orchesta. It's not perfect yet but I'm working on it.

Constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks.

  • A little fast on the transition from the two different parts of the song but other than that really good! By transition I mean The first part to the "Back to a Reason Part 2: part" but only the first time, fine the second time!

  • @julandbriloveprince yeah it's too fast compared to the song on the CD

  • That is definately not to fast, great job, sounds perfect.

  • too fast...

  • I had actually just bought that book along with christmas eve and other stories and it has a fine selection of music i can already play like 8 songs from it and im just learning christmas eve sarajevo from the other book

  • you can find the sheet music @ trans-siberian orchestra website. you have to buy the entire song book for apx. 21 dollars, I purchased it @ my local music store, but yours might not have it. I find it well worth the price concidering the amount of music that you get in it.

  • this is beautiful.

i play the piano too. and i really want to learn this song.

maybe you can put up a tutorial for this. it would be great.

    thank you so much.

  • Hey, that was very well done! I love this piece. I'm going to see them in Toronto next Thursday for the third time in three years and I'm so excited! The only thing I may suggest is lowering the tempo a little. It's a feeling thing so it's impossible to describe how I would feel if I were playing, but there were parts where I would've slowed down a little. But really, that's just a personal thing the piece is wonderful!

  • beautiful.

    Honestly .

    wow .

  • that was awesome! i wanna learn piano
