  • Thanks Corey I will take note of that :)

  • Yes Explosive is right but you also have to work on your core, lower body and upper body.

  • sets and reps?

  • why don't you just do two legged rdl's if i may ask?

  • good exercise

totally functional for sprinting or any team ball sport, when done with good technique

need to extend rear leg and hip to tweak core stability component of this exercise

the hamstring is most prone to injury during eccentric contraction so this exercise can be very effective in preventing this- the longer you aren't injured the better you can train. not all sprinting related weights need to be done explosively.

  • sweet, I stopped doing these because I noticed a weird tension in my upper quads, and I thought how maybe this exercise was kinda non-functional since you have to bend over so much... therefore I do assisted SL dlifts now . . just placing the other foot behind it, and you feel way more in the pchain. i'll have a vid up of that next wk, pce, gd starts btw

  • Nice vid bro.

The bar travels a little far forward on the way down... but I figure this is you subconsciously compensating (so as to keep your balance).

    Thanks for posting.

  • where u get these exercises specialized for sprinting? i thought u had to them more explosive
