  • so if my x intercept is a fraction (which is 1 over 4) Do i go up 1 and over 4 from the mark or from zero??

  • @kay2810 Kay, when you use this cover up method, you find the x intercept and y intercept. Then you just connect these 2 points to make the line. Sometimes these numbers are fractions, like 1/4. The "up 1 and over 4" that you mention would be for the slope, which is not used with this method. Terry V
