This was WAY longer than the 2 minutes that I like to keep my videos around. I was playing with my new camera and wanted to test the audio/video quality. I found a few wild grapevines in my backyard...and if you've watched any of my videos about edible landscaping...you can probably guess that I was pretty excited to find this. :)

  • New camera does and excellent job. Great looking yard and garden....... Donald

  • Thanks, Donald!

  • hey hows the new house? Hope your enjoying it. the camra's awesome. I bought some grape plants a few days ago but, because I live in the colder part of canada, I think the grape vines froze and died on delivery cause all I have is wood sticks instead of a grape plant. I am going to hold on to it and see what happends......wish me luck.

  • LOVING the house...Tks for asking! Just trying to pace myself with everything I want to do. :) Don't give of the grape vines yet! The reliance grapevine that I have had no growth when I bought it...looked like twigs...And once I planted and watered it, it started to grow like crazy. GOOD LUCK!

  • Love this video the grapes are looking awsome and the berries oh my I cant wait to see them mature the landscaping and really impressive and the dog reminds me of mine all he wants to do is roll around and half bark lol loved it

  • Thanks! Yes..I saw that you're growing some raspberries too. We'll have to see how they do this year. :)

  • This is so awesome. I love your video and what you are doing with your backyard...keep up all the great work!

  • You can use most parts of the grape vine. I'll give it here FOR FREE!!!! But I'm not responsible for any misuse my statements have not been evaluated by the FDA, they're not meant to treat, diagnose or cure and disease OK?

#1 Grape leaves can be stuffed with rice & veggies, boiled and eaten

#2 Grape vines can be cut and allowed to drip overnight, be sure to shade the vine thats cut and let it angel downward to collect any drippings, its great for use as hair softener and regeneration.

  • Cool Vid!

    Five Stars!!

  • looking forward to seeing if you get grapes.

  • Oh, I'm not the best person to ask. This is really my first year to grow them. I'm taking it day by day, at this point. I've been trying to give them support once the tendrils start reaching for something to grab...which is string, for now. I want to find something more sturdy pretty soon. And YES...they grow very fast!! :)

  • it looks like the gardeners are getting ready to take over youtube lol cant wait for the procress in your yard this year me I have to put stuff in the yard I feel a little behind lol
