Great Hit!! He's got some good potential!
Just wanted to say that the ref did not penalise Ryan for the tackle but for failing to roll away quick enough. The clip doesn't show how ill disciplined Leinster had been so it may have been a repeat offence and it is cleary considered by Jones as a cynical offence as Ryan failed to roll quick enough, thus slowing the ball down in the red zone... this is why he got a yellow, i'm not saying I agree with it but its nothing to do with the actual tackle!

it was a very harsh card, however leinster were playing the most disgracefull game ive seen in a long time, and i think jones was getting fed up with them by this stage. It was a dead rubber for them as theyd already qualified for the knockouts im sure, and they just went out with no desire to play a good game. From what i remember, i think 4 yellows were handed out to leinster players over the game. there were cheap shots, cynical play, numerous offences etc

James Jones is still a woeful referee, he gave him about a quarter of a second to roll away, sometimes when you're at the bottom of a ruck, you're stuck

I would like to say the southern hemisphere refs are better. they do allow a little bit more to go in the rucks than northern hemisphere and don't seem to produce a card for a solid hit like the ones in the northern hemisphere but they are not much better. hopefully in the years to come they can learn that the viewers pay to watch the players not them.

That ref is perhaps the worst ref ever to get through reffing school and make it onto the reffing pitch as a ref in the professional era. What a reffing retard he is.
