It was amazing I got to see this band live without knowing what to expect or even hearing them beforehand. Blew me away and I finally found the sound I've been looking for.

True this is not everyone's cup of tea. That's why I like it! The intensity of the lyrics and downright honesty of the way the band performs is unique! Swan's music is mostly "mood" music. Their critisism of capitalistic consumption and greed for (holy) money is well stated and proclaimed here.

@jeanmaurice1 Absolutely. Good points made. I like the intensity of the Swans, lyrics that pull no punches mostly delving into the darkest of places, musically quite unique and varied (I especially like their long tracks like The Sound). I'm really looking forward to seeing them and Nick Cave at Alexandra Palace, London next weekend.
