In 1988, Personal Ensign became the first American horse in over 80 years
to retire as an undefeated champion. Today, she is back in the spotlight, appearing in a TV public service
announcement (PSA), to promote public understanding, respect and support for the vital role that lab animals play in
advancing equine veterinary health and medicine.
Narrated by renowned cowboy poet, Baxter Black, the PSA extends the reach of Horse Facts, a public education
initiative. Created by the Foundation for Biomedical Research (FBR), the campaign seeks to improve appreciation for biomedical research among the equine community. For more information, visit www.horsefacts.org

Animal research hurts animals! If it weren't for human greed Personal Ensign wouldn't have broken her leg racing in the first place. Am I the only one who sees the irony in this stupid video?
