I just read today that Peter Grant asked Ron Wood to join The New Yardbirds (before they became LZ). I don't see a need for a fifth member of LZ myself. His reply to PG "I don't to join a bunch of farmers." In my opinion RW is not up par with any member of LZ>

@josemontenegro777 Are you high? Go listen to some of Zeppelin's live records and that's your answer why Page was lead guitar. John Paul Jones is a jack of all trades that held the group together, but without Page that band would never have existed
