Almost 100% of the serious injuries & deaths in the USA paramotoring industry are accredited to the USPPA scam or self training. If you don't get the proper skills from true master pilots right up front then you will practice incorrectly and end up getting really good at doing it wrong. That's if you live. The USHPA is where all the top pilots and instructors in the USA come through. Get the right skills from master pilots and instructors that actually have them, get the right equipment that is up to date with all the latest safety features and make intelligent choices and you can truely be a bird. Yes absolutely, it is the best all around paraglider that I know of. Incredible safety AND performance. Very slick glider.

i have a question. i just recently bought a paraglider of someone for 100 dollars but its not really a paraglider, the foil is more rectangular than the ones you are flying, also it only has a 4-1 flight ration i guess you could call it instead of a 10-1, what is this good for?

My guess would be it is either an antique which it probably would be for that price or possibly a speed glider but then you would have paid more. Paragliding came from skydiving so only the very first gliders were rectagular. Don't fly it, that's for sure. Don't kit it either. About the cheapest you would get a decent glider for is $1000 or so.

if you want to have a cheap glider, you should ask in a paragliding-school if they have got some old models they want to sell. my paragliding teacher asked me, if i want to buy an old arcus 4.24 for 100 € but i could only have used it for one year...

Jake is flying the Emotion DHV 1 glider. Very sweet glider. I'm on the Eris III RS. Pretty wild how the 22.91sm of the Eris III RS puts off waaay more lift than the 31.5sm Emotion.
