Lenin and Stalin where good leaders who made the USSR one of the strongest states of the world. But because of the corrupt leaders that followed, like Kruchstjev and Breznjev the system was failling. But when Gorbatsjov came to power he triede to revive the old system again but was stopped by the hardline Communist who didn't look on long term achievements. Lenin was living, breathing revolution. Stalin was pure iron will and determination. Krushchev always came off as kinda dim-witted to me. And Brezhnev seemed arrogant. Gorbachev... was... naive, I guess. Too ambitious for his time and place.
