Cambodia's Royal Palace complex was begun by King Norodom (1834-1904) in 1886, when the capital was moved to Phnom Penh. Most buildings were completed before World War I, with involvement by French administrators and Thai designers and architects. French influence can be seen in the formal gardens which enhance the palace, and there are some European-style buildings on the grounds.

The Throne Hall, which was originally built in wood. The present structure dates from 1919. Imitating the face towers at Angkor, four faces overlook the complex from the main spire high above the roof, whose eaves are braced by flying celestials.

  • @rathacambo i've no idea about apisit, and i have no side about politic so i don't feel anything about your words.

but all our leaders are better than hunsen for sure :)

at least i know, they destroy their people house to build capital and many things he did that unacceptable.

    what a pity! :[

  • @rathacambo ohhhhh calm down don't be angry lol

    im very funny

  • @rathacambo you know, in thailand when the discussion end. we accept what's true and false. these called educated people. and the ladyboy or prostitute that you said, i'd tell you that almost 70% of them was khmer-ethnic from somewhere that used to be your land. just look at her faces you will know :). real tai and chinese was hard working. so they have success in their life. not like someone.

  • @rathacambo at least on royal palace page of wikiepedia was trust-able more than a fucking link you gave me, proved by the satellite image. and i never tell you that our universities didn't have database,we all have library and we also have e-library too. maybe your university was far from this word because of low technology in your country. we have our good universities so we don't have to go aboard.

  • @rathacambo now i've proved data from wikipedia can be trusted more than suck link you give me.

by the way, you tell our universities were bad but some of yours come to learn regional universites in thailand lol.

that because the royal palace pattern was copied from the grand palace that was built earlier.

it so sad when i type "Royal Palace" in google, it show only my grand palace lol so i can't find any information about your palace.

  • @rathaney AHAHAHAHAHAHHA hope you never find information from that website.

if you can find believable source than wiki, show me,but if you can't you should shut up because you've just made a big fool earlier.

  • @non1333 yes it is, sure 100%, you can find in Angkor Wat! Great Khmer empire

  • @MrGotzaza of course because thai are richer than Cambodia, but Cambodia is their matter

  • @insensitive95 you are wrong, Cambodian is the founder of these architecture, not thai you know? From all over the world, everyone know Thai is behind Cambodian on history, but nowadays, with no war thai is more richer than Cambodia.

    Greetings from Vietnam :)
