These are videos taken at a Barred Owl nest where two females cooperatively mated with a male and used the same nest. This is very unusual. In the first section (it's all at 3X normal speed) the male brings home a prey item. "Jezebel" - the extra female- takes the prey from Sugar Daddy and passes it to Devon, the "alpa" female. In the second section we see Devon leave the cavity for a breather. When she returns we see how much she really wants to sit on those eggs and to what lengths she'll go to do so. The eggs (there were 3 to start with) did not hatch, probably because they overheated with the two females incubating in the cavity.
