Sambatuque & Casa da Cultura Afro-braslieira

Introduction video of Sambatuque and CCA performing together on the street and on stage. Sambatuque is a band based in Malmo, Sweden, formed by 20 people of many different nationalities playing afro-brazilian rhythms, from the modern samba batucada, samba-reggae and funky to the traditional rhythms like ijexá, alujá, and barravento.
Casa da Cultura is a cultural association based in Copenhagen promoting afro-brazilian dance and capoeira.
The collaboration between the two groups started last summer and led to a unique show in Scandinavia bringing together all beautiful music flavors and colors from Brazil.
