http://PuppyInTraining.com - Our black Labrador Retriever, Stetson is a fast eater and lucky for us we recently received a brand new Aikiou Dog Bowl for review. The Aikiou Dog Bowl was great and really slowed Stetson down. It took him 20 seconds to eat 1 1/2 cups with his regular dog bowl and over 3 minutes with his Aikiou Dog Bowl. If you have a fast eater then I recommend checking out the Aikiou Dog Bowl

  • Stetson is absolutely beautiful!!!

  • @FCKEVRY1 Thanks! We think he's handsome too. Although as you can see he loves to eat his food.

  • Stetson is a good eater....I think we should get one for Ralphie

  • @mikomoable we'd have to put only 1 piece of kibble in each compartment for Ralphie!

  • Having these kinds of things to slow them down is good, but it also makes them think and work creating self control. If you can't afford gadgets grab a muffin pan out food in the cups and put a tennis ball or toy over the food and let the dog work for the food. My dogs love to roll their treat balls around for their dinner. Remember to not leave any of these food toys around because they have small pieces a dog can choke on.

  • @bravescatz thank you for the suggestion on the muffin pan and tennis ball. We don't have a muffin pan, but maybe we'll try that some time. Also, good point on not leaving the toys out especially with Labs who seem to find a way to chew up and swallow just about anything.

  • that's funny...I'd love to see him eat the food, I have a feeling he'd find the kibble pretty quick!

  • @CrazyForPianosGirl Thanks! I also like how the bowl feeds and stimulates Stetson mentally at the same time.

  • This sure is good and interesting! Good for active dogs like labs too, as they use mental stimulation to try and get the food out. GREAT STUFF!

  • @YOURstalker16 Stetson ate slower using this bowl, but only because he had to go in and manipulate each chamber. When we go back to his regular bowl he still eats just as fast.
