Robot Grease Sampling

An excerpt from the DVD video of recently developed technology for sampling grease lubricated Fanuc robots. An alternative to time-based grease purging, and a technology to trend and compare wear conditions for proactive maintenance, grease sampling and analysis has the potential to save significant costs of maintaining large robotic assemblies, and reduce the incidence of unexpected mechanical failure of harmonic drive components.
