@DCleroy honestly i think an 883 isnt a bad start since it's a cruiser, just get something cheap that you wont mind scratching up, cause ALMOST everyone drops their first bike, i fucked up buying a brand new bike.. dropped it on gravel.. just cracked a piece (barely) so it wasnt really that noticeable.. then i had a car pull out in front of me.. so i ended up laying it down there as well.. along with another time when i was almost completely stopped in my driveway.. arriving at my bday party...

@DCleroy I think powerfull or expensive one wouldn't be a good choise... so i have now like my first bike a 150cc cruiser and really cheap but it's totally wonderfull, i mean, is really good to learn ... it is a rebellian vento that cost 23,000 mexico money, in dolar may be 1694.90 and after learn, can sell it easy and buy something little stronger or nicer... I hope this helps :)
