03 Third Battle vs. Gaius, Shadow of the Colossus
---
3 3rd third battle against Earth Knight "Gaius" Terrestris Veritas. Playthrough Walkthrough part 5. This monster is tough and trying to figure out how to get by his wrist bracelet, you normally get him to swing hard onto the center dial but I opted to use the game physics to my advantage and take him down a fun way. Enjoy!
Shadow of the Colossus, released in Japan as Wander and the Colossus ワンダと巨像, Wanda to Kyozō, is a Japanese-developed action-adventure video game developed and published by Sony Computer Entertainment (SCEI) for the PlayStation 2. The game was released in North America and Japan in October 2005 and PAL territories in February 2006. The game was created by SCEI's International Production Studio 1, the same development team responsible for the cult hit Ico.
The game focuses on a young man named Wander who must travel across a vast expanse on horseback and defeat sixteen beings, known as colossi, to restore the life of a girl, Mono. The game is unusual within the action-adventure genre in that there are no towns or dungeons to explore, no characters with which to interact, and no enemies to defeat, other than the colossi. Shadow of the Colossus has been described as a puzzle game, as each colossus' weakness must be identified and exploited before it can be defeated.

@pieisgood234 It's also on PS3 in the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus collection (HD). You can easily find a copy online with sites like eBay, and Amazon. Even the PS2 version SOTC has lots of copies floating around, online.

Where did you get the names from? I haven't seen them named anywhere else.

@Misquito73185 The names were either made up by a fan with too much time or more likely from a Japanese publication / magizine that mentions Shadow of the Colossus and the supposed names. These names became popular on the internet, thus they are technically ways to describe the colossi beyond ridiculous observations like "that big flying one" or "that tall one."
