"Hopenhagen" - Questioning Global Warming

With recent revelations about "Climate Gate" now into the mainstream, a scandal which has implicated the UN's chief research scientists for distorting global temperature records, we went to the UN's Copenhagen Summit this week to see what scientists and policy advisors have to say about man-made global warming theory. This is a discussion too important to brush under the rug. We hope you agree.

Thanks for the polite sensible reply. I've got some numbers somewhere about CO2 production from various sources. I'll try and look them up sometime. I still think the main point is that our present life-style is unsustainable - whether or not climate change is man-made or sun powered. Peace.

@hyperdust7 Water vapour is by far a bigger greenhouse gas than carbon. Even then, all other lifeforms alone produce more carbon than we do (All earth lifeforms are Carbon-based; Animals give out carbon when they exhale or die. Plants give out with they die (fallen leaves etc.) Then there is the oceans that give out 100+x more then we do.

The biggest assumption you have to make to agree with climate change is that the sun, a giant nuclear fusion reactor always burns at a constant.

lack of hurricanes this year means cooling.

after co2 is emited it takes 100 years before you will feel it.

every planet in the solar system is heating up right now. I quess they will have to show some how that people live there also. sea levels will rise when the planet rotation slows. proof of this from the past. co2 makes organics grow this is proven when a tree grows.biggest tax in history almost crushed.

I don't agree. You can quite easily add up the amount of carbon fuels we are burning and show that we are drastically and suddenly changing the nature of our planet. These carbon fuels took millions of years to lay down, and we are burning them in 100 years. Obviously completely unsustainable.

However the bit about politics and people using this to gain power might well be true!"
