  • Now that I saw this video, that is the same company we used to go to our destination, Fresh Water Adventures!! WOW, watching your video was like taking the same trip all over again...very cool, thanks for this awesome video!!

  • @squonkdh I have been on 18 trips to Alaska, but this trip is still one of my favorites. Something about having that float/seaplane drop you off and not seeing anybody for a week that is a big turn on. Good fishing doesn't hurt either.

  • Did you have the side window open while taping?

  • @GekkoKamen Yeah, I think he closed it while we were gaining elevation. It was pretty humid.

  • good video, but its not a float plane, its a sea plane because it doesnt have floats attached to it ;) other than that, thanks.

  • @iKloveKtoast I also see that they have started to make new ones now. Super Goose. And they did list it as a Seaplane.

  • Jerry's a great guy. The Ball brothers have been in Dillingham since aviation started there. We used a Goose they had in the 70's to build our lodge.

  • Excellent video of the Awesome Grumman Goose coming to get you . went on a fishing trip out of Dillingham Alaska with my father about 10 years ago on the Nuyakuk river, what a trip to land in the water sitting in the belly of a pla

ne. Simply the most brilliant trip I ever took...thanks Dad!! Awesome memories!!

  • @jtyrey Yep I spotted that in the last moment, fantastic experience anyways. I'm learning how to virtually fly one in the simulator, these videos help a lot.

  • @pegati1 He did a great job picking us up. We were at the wrong takeout spot and he had to improvise to get us.

Not to mention the poor weather that delayed our pickup.

  • Sure miss ya lester, hes one helluva pilot, to bad he had to sell the business
