@Irulaan Thanks, that is interesting,..I'm interested to hear more Wakhi language conversations and music,...I'm half Punjabi Pakistani and half Korean and love to learn about and speak languages related to my culture (Indo-Aryan) and Ural Altaic languages (related to Korean, Mongolian and Turkic),..language is such a central part of peoples' cultures and their connection to the land,..:)
@BhattisexyJanan this is house not nomadic. but yes the film was in uygur language and tv station. Wakhi language itself is closest to Avestan. newer languages like Pashto got half of words from a language close to Wakhi and half from Hindu.
@complicatedaks you are right it's not real life. it's part of a short film from China about Tajik college student returning home with Uygur and Han chinese friends.
@complicatedaks Thanks, but the culture and dress actually look more Turkic than Chinese to me. I've been to Ozbekistan and Ozbek dress is quite similar and their house design too, in Uyghur videos many of the dress and culture looks similar so it might be Uyghur. The subtitiles also look like Uyghur. Also a lot of the culture shown in the video is similar to nomadic Turkic peoples living in China.
@BhattisexyJanan No this video isn't real. The dress and culture in this video is Chinese i think but not sure and the song is in wakhi language. Dresses and cultures are almost the same of both tajiks and wakhis.
I'm pretty sure the video isn't from the song,..it looks like either from a Uyghur or Chinese Tojik drama or song,..can anybody tell me?,..by the way do Wakhis dress similar, their dress is beautiful and I'm thinking maybe Wakhi are quite closely related to Turkic people,....
Proud To Be XIK.... Thanks For Sharing...:)
